Indian Economic Services
ECOPOINT provides Online test preparation for Indian Economic Services aspirants
Features of the course
Well, truly speaking, this should not be a feature, it is mandatory of any institute who is providing guidance, to complete the course thoroughly, but, we try to go one level deeper in every topic, to give a better understanding of the course.
We must understand that, IES course is deeper than IAS economics mains, hence our level of preparations should be more serious than IAS Economics. Also, expectation from IES candidate, is upto the post graduate level of Economics, unlike in IAS Economics, where expectation is at par with undergraduate economics only. ECOPOINT, helps you to prepare IES course thoroughly.
Virtual Lectures and Doubts clearing
On every topic (as well as sub-topic) there is a recorded lecture. Now, good thing about these lectures is, you can listen to them at your leisure. These will be your property till the course ends. How will you benefit from these lectures? Remember, these are like proper classes. While listening to ECOPOINT lectures, you should be making notes of every single topic or lecture given to you.
But, how will you ask doubts? Three ways, one, by calling us. We encourage our students to give us a call at the moment they have a doubt. Second, if your doubts cant be solved on the call, may be, because they are too mathematical or you want us to check your answer, then you can mail us. Third, if above two options dont work, and you still have many doubts, then we can have a live session, where both of us can sit together and clear your doubts.
Assignments throughout the course
Anyone who has studied economics at their post graduate level, knows about the good reference books, you do not require us to tell you that. But you need help, in writing answers. Note taking and answer writing are two different things, though, both of them are important at their own places. We will help you in writing clear and concise answers. You will gain skill in writing answers logically and cutting across the subject areas.
At ECOPOINT, you will be given regular assignments, which you have to submit and we will return it back to you, giving our comments.
